The Way You Look At Me

You look at me like no one else does,

You look at me and don't see a disguise

You look at me with pure beauty, in your eyes

You look at me with pride, that you birthed, and mothered me with your life

You look at me like I'd make any woman, lucky to be my wife

You look at me, proudly, to be, so motherly, mother to me

You look at me like a man so handsomely, handsome to be, how handsome I am

You look at me so proud to see with pride, to be my mother, and I your son

You look at me, and see me, when I don't even see myself

You look at me, when I can't even look at myself

You look at me and see who I never see

You look at me believingly believing in me, because you believe in me,

when I don't even believe in myself

You look at me the way I wish I could see myself and see it in me

You look at me the same way I want to see me

You look at me the same way, so now I can say I see,

Me

The way you look at me So motherly, the way, you look at me,

That now I can say "I look at me" so handsomely, the way you see me

I look at me as who I am meant to be

I look at me as, well,

Me

I am who I am meant to be, The way you see me

You look at me the way,

I look at you, and now,

I look at me
